Drugstore Skin and Bath Products Haul with Mini Reviews

This is my latest drugstore haul from CVS. I had some extra bucks, and red box coupons so I decided to shop. I might have a shopping problem and you might be right.


I heard Eucerin is a good skincare brand for people with dry and sensitive skin so I decided to try the Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion. It is a moisturizer plus sunscreen and has broad-spectrum SPF 30. I've used it a few times now and I just love this product. It is lightweight, glides on smoothly, sinks in very fast, hydrates my skin, does not cause any irritation, and does not leave any noticeable white cast (not on my medium brown skin at least). So far so good, but I will have to use it long-term to see if it is worth a repurchase. I might do a detailed review in a later post.

The Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy Total Care Shampoo is a new product and I've been seeing it everywhere, so I decided to give it a try and see if it cures my dry, itchy, sensitive, and acne-prone scalp in any way. I've used it a few times now and I feel like it does nothing special. It's a pretty regular, average shampoo. And I'm not sure my opinion is going to change after a few more weeks of use.

I needed a good conditioner so I got the much-hyped Organix renewing Moroccan Argan Oil conditioner to help control frizz. After a few uses, I feel like it is a good conditioner and works pretty well. But I didn't notice anything special or wow about it. It seems like any other regular conditioner. 

I find makeup removing tissues to be quite rough and harsh so I thought I'll try a gentle 2-in-1 cleanser cum remover that doesn't irritate my face. I got the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser which is a dermatologist's fave/recommended, not just written on the bottle but for real. I've used it a few times so far and this cleanser is so moisturizing I don't feel the need to apply any moisturizer afterward. I don't wear any heavy or waterproof makeup so I cannot comment on that but it's good for removing normal makeup and sunscreen.

15 Must Watch Chinese Youth Dramas That are Artistic Masterpieces

I stopped watching youth dramas (dramas usually set in high school/college backdrop) over a year ago since I felt like I was getting too old for these. I find most of them quite juvenile like I am watching the Disney channel. Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color 218A I Need A Refresh-Mint Review and Swatches

OK, let me just start off by saying something totally unrelated,  Pinterest  is so friggin addictive!!! The reason why I've not posted yet this week is coz I've been there all the time pinning this, pinning that, pinning almost everything that could possibly be pinned online. I know, I have a problem here, so I decided not to pin too much today and do a blog post instead. My first Wet n Wild mega last Nail Color was in the shade I Need A Refresh-Mint. And the packaging was one of the reasons. The back of the bottle clearly shows the shade name and the ingredients on a peel-open sticker. There's the logo of the company embossed on the other two sides. The top shows us that they have introduced a ManiCurve Pro Brush which I must say is very impressive. Looks very chic, sturdy, and promising for a product that is so inexpensive. The brush is mostly compared to the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes but I never tried those so I cannot compare. I really love this...
