20I2 Cherimoya Cracked Nail Polish Savior Review and Swatches

This post has been long overdue; I wanted to post it last month but somehow I just wasn't up to it and kept postponing it. Anywho, am glad I'm finally doing it and letting you know how this affordable cracked nail polish by 20I2 Cherimoya has been working for me. 


It's really nice when cracked nail polish bottles come with the cracked design on them, easier to identify when you're browsing through tons of beauty aisles. Usually, with other polishes, the caps show the cracked design but with this brand it's different and though I don't really mind, it would have been better if they'd gone with the flow.


The brush is pretty much your average nail polish brush, nothing fancy. The nail polish is an oil-based formula, as shown on the bottle, and hence looks a little goopy and thick but while applying it, it goes on smoothly. All you need is a little amount of polish and a single coat to get a good cracked effect. I applied it on top of my Wet n Wild MegaLast Nail Color in I need a Refresh-Mint and this is how it looks.


This is my first cracked nail polish and I can't say I'm not pleased with the effect. It dries matte which was a pleasant surprise for me. I just tried two coats on my thumb to get an idea of how it'd look and I hated it; never try two coats with crackle polishes.


The polish lasts for 2-3 days tops before starting to chip off.  All in all, it's a nice affordable crackle polish, and there are a lot of nice colors available to choose from. They cost $2.99 at Walgreens. This is a super fun and easy to use nail polish. The crackle effect almost looks like I went to a salon to get some fancy design by a nail artist. I want to try crackle polishes from other brands as well.

Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color 218A I Need A Refresh-Mint Review and Swatches

OK, let me just start off by saying something totally unrelated,  Pinterest  is so friggin addictive!!! The reason why I've not posted yet this week is coz I've been there all the time pinning this, pinning that, pinning almost everything that could possibly be pinned online. I know, I have a problem here, so I decided not to pin too much today and do a blog post instead. My first Wet n Wild mega last Nail Color was in the shade I Need A Refresh-Mint. And the packaging was one of the reasons. The back of the bottle clearly shows the shade name and the ingredients on a peel-open sticker. There's the logo of the company embossed on the other two sides. The top shows us that they have introduced a ManiCurve Pro Brush which I must say is very impressive. Looks very chic, sturdy, and promising for a product that is so inexpensive. The brush is mostly compared to the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes but I never tried those so I cannot compare. I really love this...
