Lady Speed Stick Floral Infusions Antiperspirant/Deodorant Review

by - 1:47 PM

I cannot live without using deodorants, I guess nobody can right? So, while browsing through the beauty aisles at CVS I came across this Lady Speed Stick 24H Protection Antiperspirant/Deodorant Fresh Infusions in Wild Freesia and I ran out of my old one so I got this and it was on sale too. So this is how it looks.

Its just your basic deodorant stick which you twist at the bottom, and it rolls up and you apply it and roll it back. This is how it looks when opened.

I love how it came with a plastic seal on top rather than it being just open like many others I've seen. I just feel like it ensures that the stick is more protected this way.
You just have to twist it from bottom and the white solid stick comes up.
Pretty simple right? Now the ingredients and what they claim is shown pretty clearly on the back.
So what it claims is to reduce underarm wetness and stay active for 24H (as shown on the front of the product). And it does what it claims. It does give protection from underarm sweat all day and more. It applies as a white kind of substance and looks like wet powder when applied. It isn't liquidy like some other deodorant products I've used. It doesn't transfer on to your clothes. And the smell is so floral yummy and so so good. It comes in 5 flavors totally and the one I got is in Wild Freesia.

The downside though is that it is very hard to get it off. I used a wash, a hard soap, and my regular Dove soap but to no use. When you use this product regularly it kind of builds up on your skin and becomes tough to remove after a while. And since I have sensitive skin I don't like using hard scrubs but this thing makes me wanna use one and I don't like that. So what I do is use it for 2-3 days and then give it a break and use a deodorant spray for 2-3 days and then get back to this product. Another issue is that the product isn't retractable, meaning, if you twist up too much there's no way you can get it back or maybe I got a defective one, I don't know, but the packaging sucks.

You can find it at drugstores, and I got mine at CVS where it is priced at $2.99. I got it for $1.49 coz there was an extrabucks reward of $1.50 with it and I also had a coupon where if I buy for $15 I can get $5 off so I bought it along with some other necessities. Its like almost getting it for free.

I would recommend this to anyone who likes using deodorant sticks for long lasting performance but I do not recommend using this on a daily basis. I don't think I'll be repurchasing it coz I wanna try other brands.

I hope the review helps you to decide whether to buy it or not.
